WEIRD craving.. Pine Sol

I have been craving the smell of Pine Sol.. That is all I want to do is smell it.. I don't want to drink it but I have to keep smelling it.  Has anyone had this problem???

More than likely you are low on a vitamin.  Call your doc as soon as you can and see what they have to say.  I think you might be low on Iron (or something).  Someone else here might have a better idea.....but for sure, you are lacking a vitamin.

I think its called Pica, where you want/crave something that is non food.  I'd guess it was a vitamin deficincy too, but would mention it to your doctor.  Its probably your body's way of telling you need something.  (If it was me that had that, it would be that I needed a cleaner house...lol!) -Donna

Donna's right.. it's Pica and is a fair indication that you are in need of something.  Call your doc tomorrow early.. they probably will want to run a blood panel on you to see what's low.

I am the same way.I do not crave to drink it, i just crave the smell of it very much so.I do know that I am anemic,could that cause it?

I don't know what all the cravings mean.  But each craving represents something that your body is wanting. I was thinking anemia was ice or rock salt, but I'm really not certain at all.

I am the same way. I crave the smell of pine sol and other cleaning supplies.There is this cleaning supply by mr clean and i crave it,i went and bought like 5 bottles of each and use them allllllllllllllllllllllllll the time.

I am not sure the rules and hope I am not breaking them, but if you go to google and put in pica.You will come up with a lotttttttttttt. Are you pregnant? I am not and have this going on this is why i ask.

No, you don't have to be pregnant to have pica.  Children and women get it more commonly, and severe cases can be associated with mental illness.  (I think more that you are suffering from something and that is just one of the symptoms.)  I don't know exactly, I'm just trying to remember from back in my psychology classes.  Don't stress yourself about it. -Donna

shoot , i do that now, there is something about that **** that once i get it out i just cant put the damn bottle down, i guess we are pine sol addicts, LOL, im not pregnant but i just love it, and i really sometimes just take it and walk around for a few minutes and smell it. i know its weird, but its so true. and i thought i was the only one who did this!!!!!!
