I just wanted to share with those of you who were like me. Desperately wanting children but can't concieve because of this lovely PCOS. Well...16 months after surgery and loosing 117 (now 119) lbs I'm pregnant! I never thought this time would come! I was so jacked up with my PCOS that I never ovulated...even with Clomid and injectables (Repronex) and IUI! Before surgery I never had cycles...even Provera had little effect on me (was lucky if I spotted for an hour). Now...I have a regular 36 day cycle and we were able to get pregnant on our first...FIRST...month trying! So...if it can happen to me...it can happen for you...that is...if you want it! Good luck and never give up! Kristy RNY 8/3/04 254/135/140 EDD 8/8/06

Congrats! I know exactly what you went through. I had been on birth control for over 10years and wasn't diagnosed with PCOS until my early twenties. I got off the pills because I felt that I had been on them for too long and I'd heard horrible stories about the pills. I was off the pill for over a year and never got pregnant. I was too weighing 330lbs. I lost 30lbs on my own and started progesterone cream to help with my cycle. I had my first cycle and was overjoyed. The next month came and no cycle! I was like OMG i'm pregnant. I took a test and I was just that! So I give thanks to progesterone cream and Bcomplex vitamins.Congrats again.
