Pregnancy after WLS ok?
New to this board, so I would love some encouragement about pregnancy after WLS. I have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 16 years old. My husband and I have been TTC (trying to concieve) for over 10 years and have done several cycles of fertility meds. After all that, no pregnancy. My doctor wouldn't do IVF because my weight was so high, so here I am.
I know many symptoms of PCOS will disappear with the weight loss, I just want to know if pregnancy is really safe after WLS.
Will I be able to get enough nutrition?
How long do I really have to wait before TTC?
Thanks in advance for any information or advice.

I've had all the emotions and fears of what ifs and what have I done.... but 5 months preg I can say that my little girl is developing right on sched and so far her and I are quite healthy.
