pcos- my worst enemy
I had my surgery the 19th of this month. I am hoping this is the tool to nip this battle in the butt! :) The weight just kept packing on no matter what I was doing. I know it's only been two weeks, but I already feel like a different person. I am excited to see how my progress goes, and a friend referred me to this site. It's a way for me to put my feelings out without the fear of being judged :)
I also have PCOS, I'm almost 1 year of from VSG and I'm happy to report that I have had a regular period since about 2 months postop. I feel great, the cravings that came along with it have gone and my skin clearer than it has ever been.
I pray that you too win the war

This is great news! Gives me hope knowing someone else is being healed of their PCOS symptoms. Can I ask, are your periods heavier now? I have a period every 4 months, or longer, if they start on their own, without medicine. My periods are usually light and don't last too long if they start on their own, but, if I take meds, such as Prometrium, then they are heavier and last longer.
I had a IUD placed about 3 months ago but before that my periods were pretty light and lasted maybe 5 days at the most. Some months I would be on for 3 days.
