Major weightloss stall
Hey guys I'm just over 7 months out and have been in a stall since January. I've lost 93lbs and don't get me wrong I'm super happy about it but I'm wondering if my PCOS is playing a role in my stall? I'm weighing right around 209 (I'm 5'9'') and my BMI is right around 31 (I'm so close to onederland and an overweight BMI I can taste it). I excersize quite a bit (training for a triathalon) and I eat around 1200-1400 cals a day at the reccomendation of my NUT (my bodybugg says I burn anywhere from 2100-3400 cals/day depending on activity level) I've gotten my primary care doc to refer me to a reproductive endocrinologist. Has anyone else experienced this? Any reccomendations?
Please let me know what they say about this. I have felt my weight loss has been really slow and pretty much figure it is the PCOS. I keep my carbs to a bare minimum (less than 40) and consume about 600 calories a day (I'm only 3 months out). Have you had your insulin levels checked lately? Are you taking Glucophage? If not, the Glucophage can make a BIG difference in the scale and how your body is processing your insulin.

Hi there, my husband had the same problem after the surgery and several weeks ago I read about a diet program that does wonders for people exactly with this problem, but I was skeptical and did not believe, in any case I look for a solution to the problem until i read an article on some site that does testing on sorts of noconventional medical products, and they persuaded me that this plan works! It actually convinced my husband and since than he dropped another 15 pounds.
He was 180 pounds and is down to 120 and since there was no significant weight loss and he was even afraid that he will gain weight again, but this program actually put into his head how to balance what he eatsand how to keep his will power to succeed.
Encourage you to try or at least read the article.

The truth is the PCOS probably IS contributing to some of your current difficulty but given that you have already managed to lose 93 pounds and that the syndrome has been in the background fighting you the whole way, you have acheived an enormous victory. I assume you are already taking Metformin?
