Metformin after surgery

Has anyone gone back on Metformin after their surgery?  I have been at a 3 week stall, my NUT says I am eating decently gave me a couple of ideas, now in the gym, but I am wondering if I need to stay on met for a bit to just stablelize things.  I go for my 6 week follow-up next week and will ask him, also having my pcp run my hormone levels.

I didn't go BACK on, but I got diagnosed after my surgery (about 5 months out). I've been on metformin for a month. They weaned me onto it and it been causing diarrhea and dizziness (light-headedness). I'm going to the dr for a follow up and sonogram tomorrow actually.
