Am I the only one?

At one point my periods were back on track, after I stopped taking Clomid and Provera. They came for about 5 months. Like clock work. It was SOOO nice to actually be able to say, yep, AF will be coming this weekend. But it only lasted 5 months. Now I am back to square 1. I haven't had af since January.
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT RNY HASN'T HELPED WITH THE PCOS?

Oh how frustrating! I'm sorry! :(  I'm really hoping that my revision surgery will help me lose weight so that my PCOS can take a break for a while.  That's so odd that you were back on track and then out of no where it stopped again.  I was hoping someone who could relate more would answer because I'm very curious to see if more people have this issue also.

What revision surgery are you having?  I am considering one too

I'm revising to the DS.  I've been on the revision board for a while and I've never seen anyone revising FROM the DS to anything else, but people w/Band, sleeve, rny, etc  are all revising TO the DS so...count me in :)

What is DS????? I currently have the Lap Band.

 Im right there with you Julia23.  I had RNY in Sept. 09 and 5 months later had all the symptoms of PCOS come back.  I spoke to my GYN and told him I think it is back...(missed periods, dizziness and eye problems from hormone swings), he said no way, it is a 99% cure.  After going to so many doctors for months, then back to my GYN, he took blood and said "Your PCOS is back"  He put me on the pill but I am having some real crappy side effects...I have not lost 1 pound since I started it, I am sooooo cranky, I am sooo hungry all the time and in the first month I had break thru bleeding for 15 days.  So frustrating!!!!
What is your doctor doing for you?

The exact thing happened to me, i was banded in 08' lost about 60lbs started getting my period for likr 8 months right on time for the first time in my life and then bam.. all of a sudden nothing... back to normal =o/ i'm so upset! i don't know what i did wrong or what i should do... go back on bitrh control to at least get a period or just let it go... any ideas?
