anyone experience with provera?

I was put on provera to stop my bleeding. I post about this in another topic on this forum about dysfunctional uterine bleeding.

I was actually put on Provera to MAKE me bleed, so my experience may not be exactly what you're looking for. But I didn't have any noticeable side effects while I was taking it. I'm supposed to take it once a day for 10 days every 40 days. The first time was horrible...my period lasted for two and a half weeks straight, very heavy, lots of clots, just terrible. I ended up going out and buying some adult diapers just to keep me from soaking my clothes and my furniture. But every time since then (assuming I take it on time), I've had an absolutely normal period, which is something I had never had.

I was on it for a while.  I used to take something to make me start bleeding and something else to make me stop bleeding.  One of those was provera.

Hi i have been on provera three times lol i never have periods so they gave me provera to start them i take it for 10 days and stop for 30 or 40. But its for hormones so maybe it might help you to stop if you lacking this hormone not sure though cause i only took it to bleed. I wish you luck
