I am 1yr and 7months out from having RNY and I just barely realized that from being on Clomid from March-August that for the past 2 months (September&October)AF has come on her own. WHOA, that means that since my last round of fertility that I have had AF both months. I am amazed. I thought it would never happen. Although I am not getting too excited, as it has been a B*TCH for her to just show up. Hopefully I am Ovulating so when I am ready to try for a bayyyybeeeeh again I don't have to do the fertility thing. Who knows. Guess we will see if she continues to come regularly!

I really think the weight loss is magical for PCOS. I am new to the forum, so pardon me if you've heard this story 100 times :)

I had surgery (RNY) in 2002. Exactly one month to the day after surgery, I got my own period. ALL ON ITS OWN!!!! And 7 years later, it hasn't stopped coming. I am also "fertile myrtle" and have have had 4 pregnancies in 4.5 years (2 babies, though).   Let me say, that with the pregnancies, my weight has gone up and I am 30 pounds over my lowest weight and I still menstruate regularly but on longer cycles (28-33 days).  I think you've hit your "right" weigh to get things rolling.

Good luck.

After surgery my period came every month mostly regular for the first time in my life. Nothing like puberty at 30. AF is tapering again now that I am 20 months out, but.... You may not have any issues getting pregnant now. They say that is the case for a lot of people. I am finished haven babies, but had to do fertility to get both our kids. Wonder if I would have to now, but no more kids. LOL Best of luck to you. I hope that your body is fineally doing what is should and you can get a baby on your own if you choose to have another one. Best of luck to you.

Thank you! I did fertility for 6 months and no pregnancy out of it. I don't have any children yet. But I really hope that I will be able to get pregnant easily now (when I'm ready to try). I hope I'm fertile myrtle! LOL
