Ok this is for my daughter inlaw she is with my only son she is 26 with PCOS She was but on BC about a year ago. From my understanding the pill regulates the period so how long before she should stop taking the pill and try and concieve? I would love to be a grandma! Any comments welcomed. Sincerely Dolly

According to the Chart on the back of my GYNO's door, the Pill can take up to a year to clear out of your system, so I guess it will vary according to your Daughter In laws system!  Good Luck!

Depends on her system. It can take up to a year to self regulate, some people get pregnant if they are an hour late taking their pill... I got pregnant both times within 3 months of stopping my pills.  I also have PCOS.
Some women with PCOS never have trouble concieving, and some require medical assistance. If she's ready, tell her to toss the pills, relax, and just have fun. Stress can mess your cycle up like nothing else.
If after a year or so, nothing happens, she might ask her dr for some assistance.

Yes, just like Snape mentioned- she needs to come off the pill, see if she's regulated w her periods and try some bed dancing to conceive. If after a year nothing happens, she eventually needs to see a reproductive endocrinologist.

It worked for me.

Best wishes to her and your journey to grandma status!!!
