HmmmMMmmm.....

I havent officially been diagnosed with PCOS but im pretty sure that i have it.....HOwever, I just recieved my first period after seven years.....whoo huuuu!!!! However, im freshly out of the surgery and i havent been too alert about my sex habits. I never had to worry about getting pregnant and now its crossing my mind....cuz i have been having alot of intercourse since the surgery. I did take a pregnancy test and it didnt work...the control line didnt show...not even faintly...and i did a search and it said if the control line didnt show then its not valid. However, like i was telling the boyfriend....its common for people with PCOS to have a period one month...and not get it till months and years down the road....so should i be concern....or could this just be one of those moments?????

it is quite common for you to have periods straight out from surgery even if you havent had them in forever. your dr should have talked to you about birth control(especially for the first 1-2 years after surgery) because even those who have been told they cant get pregnant find out they actually can and it CAN be dangerous to get pregnant early out from surgery. i would stop having sex until you can get to your dr for some type of birth control.

you should definitely look into both getting a diagnosis and some birth control girl! i didn't have a period for 3 years...lost some weight pre surgery and they came back, but still irregular. After surgery period came back like clock work and well NOW i am also KNOCKED UP!!!!
I'm a bit further out then you (almost 10 months) and praying for a healthy pregnancy none the less BUT you should try your best to follow Dr's orders.
Like mentioned before, PCOS is definitely not birth control, lol we both know that now!! Hormones have a tendency to go crazy and to REGULATE after extreme weight loss =)
