Just got Dxed with PCOS

Was just diagnosed with PCOS, known it for a few years though... Anyway's... I am looking at the DS. Any thoughts or info is good. I am in Rochester, NY 

I had RNY in Jan. I had symptoms before but never really knew what it could be from. My OBGYN never really paid attention to anything and he's been my OBGYN for about 12 yrs already. But he's more high risk pregnancy so I really never seen him, I saw his NP and MW's more.  Had first abnormal pap back in Aug 08 and had LEEP done first week of Jan. Then had RNY and then all of the symptoms got worse and have been getting worse. My PCP says its because of the rapid weight loss and your body needs to adjust. But also agrees its due to PCOS. I am pushing for a hysterectomy due to my mild dysplasyia and hoping to have it done before the years end.  I hear DS is really good for quick fix on a lot of health issues. I did hear about it before I had RNY and had actually considered it but was a little worried on how drastic it is. I was a *****icken. Don't know why if with the RNY you still have your insides rearranged. I would actually reconsider if I could now. Specially because of the rapid weight loss and better success stories on DS. But in the end the decision is yours and yours only.

I just had the DS a little over two weeks ago in NYC and am doing well and feeling great.  I'm already seeing a lot of symptoms turn around (dark patches of skin are fading, got my period within days of my surgery) and my energy level is AMAZING.  I feel like a new woman.

 Yes I have checked it out and that is the surgery I want. I go to a seminar on the 24th of September. I have a local doctor that will do it. I hear he is just awesome! So, Lord willing my insurance will accept it.
