I have a question about facial hair. For those of you that have it does it decrease after your surgery? I know lots of other symptoms get better after surgery I was wondering if this is one of them.
Thanks

Might depend on a per person basis. I had a little bit of facial hair prior to my surgery and now after Its increased significantly. I have side burns and hair on places that I've never had before. So it might be that my condition has just worse. I have read some people say their condition has improved so like I said it probably just depends on your body and hormones.

I have increased hair since my surgery but I think it is probably coincidental with the fact that I just turned 50. I have noticed other hormonal changes as well and so I really don't think it has increased due to the surgery.

What happens is your body is now stressed and women's hormones sometimes kick off when you start to lose weight.  What I did was go back for a touch up on my lazer hair removal treatment and it worked wonders.

no change for me, although my smaller face and fewer chins make it less obvious (in my view).
healthy again... and thankful!

I've tried to avoid Biotin whi*****reases hair growth everywhere!  Watch out - Biotin is included in a lot of bariatric multi-vitamins.

I am 5 months post-op and have noticed a decrease in facial hair. It isn't completely gone but it's definitely not as thick as it used to be.
