Hello everyone my name is ameenah I am pretty new to the boards, I have been diagnosed with pcos about 3 years ago and they already explained to me that It would be hard for me to concieve. They said that it is not impossible though because I already have a daughter. So I tried to figure out how I could concieve without infertility drugs (there expensive and were broke! ) , Anyway I decided to try to loose weight, I was successful 30 pounds in 3 months  but when I was on a roll I got pregnant It was bitter sweet because I have a tremendous amout of weight to lose. But I was exicted with the twins. I had a pretty good pregnancy but then I went in early labor at 24 weeks and I lost my beautiful babies. that was three years ago needless to say I gained back my weight and 30 more pounds along with it. So now I have decided on wls and I hope this helps because I just got back on the baby wagon. So I hope and pray everything goes well!
If this is good for me I pray that God make it easy for me in righteousness and good health ameen

Hello there just wanted to send you warm wishes and prayers down your way. I am so sorry about your twins. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and also just had the WLS. I was diagnosed after surgery. I started to notice changes in my facial hair, period, body, etc. I think the most complicated problem with me was my insulin resistance. That is making my weightloss a little slower so its a bit frustrating but I was told that with taking glucophage it should regulate it and be able to control my insulin. Once you start losing my doctor says it should get under control. Oh yeah and someone else also said the glucophage makes you very fertile. So maybe that will help you also. Well Good luck!
