It CAN Happen!

I know we aren't out of the "woods" yet (first trimester-wise), but I wanted to post to say that I'm in my 9th week of pregnancy!!!!
I was diagnosed with PCOS six years ago after having my son.  Doctors said I had to lose weight and I had RNY 21 months ago.  Started getting regular periods again after the surgery but never showed O'ing on any OPK's EVER!
Happened to have an ultrasound for an urinary issue and they found a large blood-filled cyst on my left overy.  OB-GYN said, "This is your lucky chance.  You're more fertile now then you might ever be again."  I guess these cysts help rupture the lining of the ovary, allowing eggs to be released that might not normally for a few months after the cyst.  Well, that very month we got PG, after five years less a month of TTC!
NEVER thought it was gonna happen again!  Miracles do occur and now I just hope that all goes well throughout the pregnancy since this might be our very last chance (+I'm almost 35 years old).
Just wanted to share our story in the hopes that it keeps other ladies hopes up too!

Thank you for your response.  I am not on any of these drugs anymore but have been on Prometrium and Met in the past.  Hopefully, all will go smoothly without them.  I just started my 11th week today.
My understanding is the large cyst I had acts like ovarian drilling which is a good thing since no doctors up here will perform that anymore!
