I have PCOS and i was wondering if having this will help me get approved to have the lap band?(i have medicare)

If your BMI is below 40 then you need 2 co morbidities in most states. Go online to your states medicare policy and look at the guidlines. Some states will not approve for BMI less than 40. I live in NC. My friend had gastric bypass and she said she had to do the 6 month supervised diet.

My BMI was 40 and I only had PCOS so my insurance approved me.
