I am so happy for you & I don't even know you!!!!  I am new to the PCOS forum...I am having lap RNY in February 2009 & was looking around when I came across your post.  I want you to know that I couldn't agree more...miracles DO happen...I was dx'd w/PCOS in 2001 after 13 months ttc...docs told me that I had to lose weight (I weighed about 275 pounds)...so, I went on Atkins & Metformin (Glucophage) lost 67 pounds...my periods came back & I was ovulating w/the help of Clomid....then, in January of 2002 our first miracle happened....and she was born happy & healthy (9 pounds 3 oz) in October of 2002!  But wait.....in August of 2005 (w/the help of Metformin & Clomid) our second miracle was born (10 pounds 2 oz)....and...SUR-PRIZE in March of 2007 our THIRD miracle...our little boy...was born (a REAL shock!) because we were done, not on Clomid & not even "trying" to have a third baby!!! So.....get ready for a FANTASTIC ride being a Mommy....there is nothing that even comes close to the transformation that you will go through over the next 7 months....it is truly amazing!

Now just FORGET about that (annoying) percentage of miscarriages and remember that I am here to say that just because you have PCOS doesn't mean that you will miscarry...I am at 100%--never had a miscarriage & have three healthy little ones (6, 3 & 21 months now!)....just keep thinking that PCOS makes it hard for you to get preggers, but once you do, you are home free....think positive & go by something pink & something blue....whichever you don't use you can donate or give away, but you will remember the first item you bought for your little one forever!!

Best wishes Mommy!!!  :), Micheala.
