I have a question? might be TMI
One of the lovely things I get from my pcos is the boil like pimples on my inner thighs I hate them b/c when they heal they turn almost black and stay that way........Im scarred from them they are so ugly and b/c of that I cant wear a bathing suit. My question is does anyone have any way of lighting these so they are not so noticeable?
The only thing that I know that has been working (slightly) is the whitening line by Euoko. It's expensive as can be, but it does work. I've had the boils since I was 17 years old. You might want to try www.soulcysters.net . I know a lot of people there have experienced the boils as well. They may have better and cheaper answers! Either way, I do understand the anguish over them.
Karen are you on Metformin? I stopped getting those when I had my Metformin increased, not sure if there was ever a link, just something I noticed. Those spots may lighten with a prescription of Hydroquinone USP, 4%. It's the same thing they give us for "pregnancy mask" or with us "cysters" that dark mustache that forms on the skin above our top lips.... works miracles! (dern hormones!) May worth be asking your PCP about.
