Question about sweating???

I really would like to know if anyone else out there has the same problem I do?  I seem to sweat so ,so, so much!  I can just do simple things like v *** empty the dishwasher and the AC is on high!  It is so bad that I take a bath in very, very cool water.  My poor husband freezes all the time.  When I put on make-up, I have to stand in front of a fan or right in the path of the airconditioner, or it all runs off.  Then when I go outside it runs off my face because of how I sweat.  It is gotten so bad, that my sun block ( I wear it on my face daily.)  will not stay on.  I wake up at night and my pillow is damp.  I have to keep one in the floor to switch off in the middle of the night.  I have told my endocrinologist, my PCP, and my OBGYN.  They seem to act like it is nothing, but it is very hard to deal with.  I had talked to another member on here before who had this sweating from her PCOS, and I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.  If they had or have, did your surgery help it?  Thanks, Cindy

i used to always feel hot and sweat with the most minimal exertion before my surgery.  i'd even perspire while putting on my makeup.  it sucks.  i would have the fan going all the time (or the a/c before i moved to california where no one seems to own the dang things).

since i've had surgery, it has gotten a lot better.  i haven't been back to work yet, so i don't know how it will be there but i don't always have to sleep with the fan on.  i can put on my makeup with out sweating profusely.  now i mostly seem to sweat with normal exertion.

this can be so frustrating to deal with; hang in there.

here are some links i though might help:

Thank you so much, that is a relief to hear!!  It truely does suck!!!  I feel like I stink all the time, and am never clean, no matter how many showers a day I take!  I can't do anything without sweating, I know that it is hormones but I still feel like there is something they could do for us.  My doctors all just look at me like "tough sh--" .  I can't wait to have my surgery.  I am tired of being the fat sweaty girl.   When did you have yours?  How are you doing?  When I went to my consult with my surgeon, he said that almost all of the symptoms of my PCOS would deminish.  I hope he is right.  I am going to look at the links that you gave me, thank you.  Please keep in touch, Cindy.
