Progesterone DURING Pregnancy

Hi all...

I have discovered that getting prego AFTER surgery is a little too easy! I miscarried our first, but found out 4 weeks later I'm pregnant with our second. I'm 10 weeks along now. I am using progesterone vaginal suppositories this time. My question is...did any of you use progesterone suppositories with your pregnancies? If so...how did it work? What were your side effects? (Did you crave carbs??) Did  you have a successful pregnancy? Any stories...ideas...suggestions...would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've been fortuate that both of my pregnancies have not needed progesterone supplements.  I'm not sure of the side effects of it but have you been to www.soulcysters.com ?  It's a support/information for women with PCOS and there are lots of pregos there who've taken progesterone (many in my due date group) who may be able to better answer your questions about it.

I went to a reproductive specialist to concieve our two kids, and had to do the suppositories with both. I ended up with two very healthy pregnancies and did great. I know now too that there are injections that can be given that high risk pregnancy doctors use regularly. SO, I assume that it helps. I know I had no issues but could have been bc I used them.
