Need Some Help

Hi again everyone,

I am going to see a Gynaecologist/Obstetrician this week to talk about my fertility issues.  I have still not been able to conceive since my wls and was wondering what medications I should let the Dr know to try.  Is there anything that we should avoid with having the RNY?  I can use all the help I can get.

Hi,  I was on fertility drugs to get pregnant with my last son but that was not after WLS.  I would suggest asking your Surgeon who did your weight loss surgery if there are any hormones or fertility drugs he knows of that you should avoid.  Not trying to be nosey but have you been using a basal thermometer and trying to pinpoint ovulation? 

the dr might mention clomid, i have know several pcos woman that were able to get preggo with clomid. BUT check out the pregnancy board, and ask this same question. i know there are a few woman there that have had to have fertility treatments. good luck
