You can also buy progesterone cream OTC.  It's not as strong as the Rx kind, but it worked for me . . .  I have used the Rexall brand "menopause formula" they sell at Wal-Mart and the Pro-Gest brand, which I bought online.  I miscarried my first pregnancy - found out about the prog cream and started using it throughout the second half of my cycle, after I was sure I O'd.  3 months later I was pg, I used the cream until I was 12 weeks, and had a beautiful baby boy at 37 weeks.

I'm so sorry about your miscarriage.  I wish no woman ever had to go through that pain.

Dear Deb,
I had the vertical banding gastroplasty about 5 years ago and lost 200 lbs. I also have PCOS and at 32 years old had never been able to get  pregnant and after a divorce and finally finding my soulmate, I did get pregnant but lost the baby . The baby stopped developing after 5 weeks. I was so depressed that my doctor suggested trying a medication that is typically for patients with diabetes. It's called Glucophage. She said that they were having some very good results helping women like us with PCOS get pregnant. My doctor told me it would take at least 1500 MG in my sytem before she thought it may help me to get pregnant. She started me off at 500mg and about a month  after I started taking the Glucophage I find out I was pregnant and my baby girl is now a year old. I understand how upsetting it can be, but don't give up. Ask your Dr about the Glucophage. I am a believer.
Take care and Good Luck!
