Ok so I have PCOS and I had rny on 4/29 well since then I have had 3 periods all in 1 month then nothing in June. Well I started having severe abd pain around my ovary. So I went to the Dr and he ordered an U/S and I have a large cyst on my left ovary, but on the other hand my right ovary had no little cysts so I guess I got good news and bad news. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of thing. Coul dit be that my hormones are just still adjusting themselves or maybe that my ovaries are just trying to relearn what they are supposed to be doing b/c come to think of it I may have never ovulated at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Well, I am not an expert in any way, BUT, I will say that since I have been losing so much weight, my hormones have been crazy.  SO yes, this could just be your body adjusting.  Good luck.

I have had a few ovarian cysts as well, they hurt!  As your hormones start readjusting themselves, this may happen.  Your body was possibly trying to ovulate and had no luck releasing the egg, thus the cyst developed.  Birth control pills can help with the cysts.

You can definitely expect funky periods while you loose weight.  Estrogen is stored in fat and as these fat cells shrink they release the estrogen.  If it gets too bad contact your OB/GYN for help.  Congrats on your surgery & weight loss so far!
