Provera??

Hey I haven't had surgery yet. I do have PCOS and I have not had a period in a year and a 1/2 so my doc put me on Provera to get it. Well, the last day I was on it was Friday and I still haven't gotten my period. I have had cramps and I having been craving choc. like you wouldn't believe (which is rare for me) So I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks and blessings to you!!

Hello!  I was on provera before I had RNY and I would usually never start my period until 3-5 days after the last pill.  And the craving chocolate thing, maybe you will be starting soon =o)

I"ve gone for as long as 2 1/2 weeks after my last pill without starting. But other times, I start almost immediately afterwards.. -Miki

Oh my goodness..I can't believe it can take that long! I ended up getting mine a few days ago. Since I haven't had it in over a year this has been the most terrible experience ever! I was at the ER tonight because of it! Lost way to much blood, dizzy, weak, and HORRIBLE pain! I mean I have thrown away 3 pairs of pants..It sucks..but oh well, that's life..

I am on day 3 of provera- I have a huge fibroid that is bleeding....size of a grapefruit with all the cramping etc....my gyn said after the 7th day I will bleed worse...kinda like a medical Dand C...fun fun
