I know that it is different with everybody, but what are your symptoms? I have learned while being on OH, that some of the things that are wrong with me are actually from my PCOS. I no longer feel like a freak, well not as much! lol!

Thank you in advance!

With me it was noticing the hair growth on my face....then the dark skin patches on my neck....then the mid section weight gain. I went to 12 DIFFERENT Drs before being diagnosed with a severe case of PCOS. I shave every other day.....still have dark skin patches and the mid section weight gain is horrible. Hope that helps. you can also get a plethera of info from soulcysters.com. they helped me a lot.

The only symptoms I have are excessive unwanted hair and I rarely get my period. Laser hair removal is my best friend. Sucks but it's worth it.

Hello, I had all of the symptoms that Christine R. listed, plus: **Extreme Mood Swings to the point where everyone walked on egg shells around me monthly, yet no cycle for over 6 years **Skin Tags that grew on my hip. It's a tiny meaty mole-type thingy that can get irritated depending on where your clothes fall. **Reoccurring Bactrial Vaginitis which is guess came from not having periods, but when they finally started some of the clots were "old" and scary when they came out. I took a few in to the Doc's office. **Depression and very sensitive to everything and every body. So, no, you are not a freak. Your body is just out of whack....Good luck.
