Birth controll pills and no period
How long ago did you have WLS? Remember if it has been within the last two to three months your body is full of hormones and is still adjusting to everything it's been through.
Sometimes it takes two or three cycles on BC to get your period to regulate, give it some time.

I am still pre-op trying to get this stuff all straightened out before I put my body through the surgery. Besides I was told by an endocrinologist that if I didnt get my thick uterine lining thinned down I was going to get cancer in no uncertain terms. I am going to give it two months then I am going to see what else there is.. I dont really want kids so I would even consider a hysterectomy at this time, just so I dont have to worry about getting cancer. I have been through hell with my periods. I almost died once, I bled heavily for 3 weeks, then passed out from lack of red blood cells in my body. I ended up spending a week in the hospital and having to have blood transfusions from it. I wanted a hysterectomy then and they wouldnt let me because I was only 24 and no kids. I am so frustrated with all of this!
In all honesty now having read this second post--FIND A NEW OBGYN NOW!! There are so many great doctors who can help and if the one your going to is still leading you around like this it's time for a second opinion.

I go to one of the best hospitals around. My family doc is the one whos got me on the BCP right now. I am looking for an endocrinologist, but cant find one in town, and the one at the University where my PCP is is the one who was a dick to me about getting cancer, so I want no part of that place again!
