Sorry, I just have to laugh at that. Unless you come back and say that the condom broke or the diaphragm slipped, I'll still laugh. It's not actually you that I'm laughing and shaking my head at. It's just the concept of "it just happened." Sorry, it just doesn't fly with me.
My doc has already told me that after the surgery, I'll be more fertile than I've ever been because of the PCOS. So I'll be using double protection. I hope to get back on the NuvaRing after surgery and we'll for damn sure be using condoms as an extra method of protection. If not on the NuvaRing, then it will be condoms and plenty of spermicide. There are things you can do to prevent a pregnancy from "just happening." Especially when you've been advised against it due to the nutritional deficiencies you will be putting not only your body through, but your baby's body as well.
