abdominal pain

    For the past few weeks I have been having a strange uncomfortable type of pressure pain in my lower abdomin. Its really weird and very bothersome. Does anyone else get this and what the heck is it. I took a couple of pregnancy test, but they came back negative. I called my gyno and got an appointment, but couldn't get in until March 28th. If any of you have ever had an ectopic pregnancy, the first starting of the ectopic pain is kinda what it feels like.....like my tube is throbbing or something. I haven't had a period since October, but this is normal for me to never have a period. I just can't figure out what it is. Please help, Tea

It could be you've got a cyst that is about to burst. Call your OBGYN again and demand an appointment and tell them why...NO doctor should put you off that long. I live in NYC and I have one of the most demanded OBGYN's and I never have to wait if I'm having unexplained pains or problems.

I agree your proably experiecing a cyst about to burst or in the middle of. Very painful . You need to call back your gyno and tell the office staff your in pain you need to see her/him asap. If they can't do anything to get you in earlier, maybe you need to find a new obgyn. Does this one specialize in PCOS? I know they can't so anything about the cyst bursting (at least that's what I've been told, not sure is that true), but at least the doc can confirm that's what it is. I wish you luck in hoping you can see a doctor sooner than March 28th.  Hugs, Kristin
