Well my surgery went very well, dr scarborough said it was textbook perfect and after 48 hours they released me from the hospital.  I was walking on my own, drinking and holding down food right from the start, so i thank you all for your prayers, and thoughts!  I havent weighed again yet but i feel smaller except for that gassy bloat, but hopefully that will pass quickly! *hugs n kisses*

pepermint tea will help with the gassy bloating feeling...

But congrats... and we waited almost 2 weeks before we weighted me because I gained 28 pounds of water weight while I was in for my gastric bypass hehehe... so don't get too worried when you weigh youself...

well the gassy part seems to be over thankfully, im walking (slowely) but about 2.5 hours a day now, I guess i didnt retain water ive lost 7 pounds so far so thats just awsome!  Ill keep the tea in mind in case i have any more episodes
