Metformin Question

Does anyone know if metformin comes in liquid form? That would be great if it did. I am supposed to be taking 1500mg but since I have to break them up, I am only taking about 750mg.

as far as i am aware, metformin only comes in pill form. 

I actually had an appointment yesterday with my Endo. She said there is a liquid form called Relentza (?) The good thing is, my labs were all perfect so she said I could try going off the Metformin for now. I will follow up in 6 months for a recheck.
