Pregnant at 4 months post-op!

So my husband and I were planning on starting to try to get prgnant sometime next summer, but it looks like I'm pregnant now! I had been having regular cycles since my surgery and when I realized I was late, I took a pregnancy test....expecting that it would be negative and the late period would just be a sign that all my PCOS symptoms were not gone. However it came up positive as did the second one I took later.

I can't get in to see my doc for another two weeks, but I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has ended up pregnant so soon after surgery and if so, were you able to carry successfully? I have already switched to prenatal vitamins and I am using liquid protein in my water through the day so I can get enough for a pregnant woman.

Any advise is much appreciated!

I've known a few ladies to get pregnant early out and still have healthy babies.  The best place to post this would be on the Post Op Pregnancy board.  Which brand of prenatals are you taking?  When I got pregnant I took the following and it was ok'ed by both my WLS surgeon & my OB/GYN...

2x the prenatal (I did the Optisource brand at Walmart)

1 Super B Complex

Sublingual B12 2x a week

Caltrate Petites 2x a day

Good luck & Congratulations!!
