Strange question
I was just wondering, Since i was givin a diagnose of PCOS/insullin resistance last year and now she is claiming it is type II........what exactly do I have? PCOS and diabetes typeII no more insullin resistance? Ok typing this I confused myself more, I hope someone understands what i mean, lol I guess when it comes down to my dr writing my letter does he say i am diabetic and also mention pcos? or does he just say diabetic, They are 2 seperate diagnoses right?
You have PCOS therefore you have a type 2 diabetes diagnoses.

Surgery Date: 6/5/07
Yes they are two separate diagnoses. You have to have consistently high blood sugar levels to be considered diabetic. And sugars that are not controlled by diet modifications and exercise.
Most insurance companies will NOT consider insulin resistance a co-morbidity because it is not full-blown diabetes.
