Question About Spironolactone

I was on spironolatone, metformin and BCP before I had WLS.  Well it is now 3 months after surgery and the extreme scapl itch has started back. The itch was really bad before I started spironolaction.............. My endocrinologist does not want to put me back on the metform or spironolactone and I am off BCP too............ Does anyone else have this scalp itch problem also? If so is there any thing I do to help with  the itch with out the drugs?
