Congratulations!!  I remember how much I was in shock and awe when I found out I was pregnant after failing 8 years of fertility treatments before WLS.  Have you been on the Post Op Pregnancy board on here?  You can get to it by clicking on the "Weight Loss Related" tab up above and then of course by clicking on "Post Op Pregnancy".   I hope you have an awesome pregnancy! Congrats! I am considering having WLS next summer after I get out of school. I also have PCOS and have been told that I probably cannot have babies very easily at this point. Your success is very uplifting and inspiring for me as I decide whether or not to make the decision to have surgery. God Bless! Nikki

Amen!  I am sort of finding that I am one of only a few if any on here that had PCOS and weight loss surgery and got pregnant after WLS.  I'm so excited for you, WLS is just a tool, it's not an easy road--but it is very helpful towards losing and controlling what and how much you eat!   I'm finding that if I add in any sugars---I crave more---so it's just as hard as it was before WLS.  It does take a lot of self control, prayer, and effort!  Are you getting your masters degree?  I encourage you on a personal note to do it!!  Before any WLS or any precious blessings come your way!  I'm doing it all right now----yes, my masters, my baby (s?) and working.  It's not too much--the Lord provides.  But as nausea creeps my way I'm finding it harder.  I know he's with me, and supports me and my husband tremendously.  :)  Just pray and let your spirit that God gave you guide you through.  My email is [email protected] and I look forward to getting to know you better!  Life's exciting isn't it!? Babies bring joy---it's like better than antidepressants!  Lord knows I've almost taken them MANY times! Talk soon. :)Margaret
