pcos

how do you know if you have pcos?  i mean i've never been tested but i have about 9 out of 10 symptoms of it...how would i know?>

hi if you 9 out 10 symptoms you need to get yourself tested, just incase its something more serious than pcos, simple blood tests will give your doc a good idea and then maybe a endo. hope this helps.  ps are you a kiwi?

They can confirm PCOS with a blood test (to check your FSH & LH ratio) and with an ultrasound to check the ovaries for the cysts.  You should be able to have this testing done with your OB/GYN.  If they are unwilling to test...go to an endocrinologist.  Good luck! Kristy
