VSG on 11/10/16
Hi Everyone!
I am wondering, if anyone who has had laser hair removal done could please, help me out by answering some questions... What is the name of the laser used for your hair removal, how many treatments have you had, was it effective, if so, how long and the cost, if you can remember.
I really appreciate, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the delay in the response but I don't come to this site often...
I am in the process of having laser work (and electrolysis for the grays) done on my face and I love it! I don't know what type of laser it is but I'm having it done at a laser hair & skin clinic. I had a heavy beard and used to try to cover it with shaving and makeup. I've been having treatment for a year (laser about once a month/electrolysis about twice a month) and hardly ever wear makeup any longer and forget shaving! WOO HOO!!!!! All clinics have their own fees but mine has been about $100 - $150 a month depending on what I have done. Some people would rather have laser over electrolysis but I think electrolysis doesn't hurt as badly (my opinion)... laser stings like a sunburn for about an hour afterwards and stings while it's being done, also I smell hair burning for a bit afterwards also. The pain is worth the results..
I hope this helps you... PM me if you have any other questions I can help you with! Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. It's ok, not many people seem to come to this forum often. I wondered this because I've heard certain lasers produce certain results and if/when I do it I feel like I want to have a lot of different opionions so I know. It is not something I can just ask people on the street about since this is a rather er..delicate subject matter...
The laser my practitioner uses is the Candela Alexandrite GentleLase. It costs $225 per treatment and I have had 5 since I started in January (my next one is scheduled in a month; after that I should be on maintenance - once or twice a year). The difference is phenomenal and I cannot rave enough about how much better I feel since I started (I was plucking my chin for an hour a night before this). Definitely effective and definitely worth it!
LOVIN' my band!
