**HAIR LOSS**HELP!

I HAVE HAD THINNER THAN NORMAL HAIR SINCE I WAS  LIKE 21 AROUND THE TIME I WAS DIAG WITH PCOS... THERE HAS BEEN TIMES IT WAS THICKER THAN OTHERS BUT ABOUT 3 WEEKS B4 I WAS BANDED I NOTICED MORE COME OUT IN THE SHOWER AND SINCE 06-01 MY BAND DATE A TON WHEN I BRUSH MY HAIR AFTER THE SHOWER... WILL  IR COME BACK?? IS WEIGHT LOSS GOING TO HELP? IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN TAKE TO STOP OR SLOW IT OR BETTER YET GROW IT BACK RIGHT AWAY? MENOXIDIL MAYBE? HELP IM FREAKING OUT.. IM ONLY 27 AND NEWLY MARRIED IM SO WORRIED ITS ALL GOING TO FALL OUT

It won't all fall out.  It may continue to thin, at least for a while, though.  PCOS causes hair loss, but also, post operative stress can cause an increase in hair loss for a few months after surgery. The post-surgery stuff is temporary.  As for the PCOS hair loss, you can use Rogaine for women, or take Aldactone.  You can't get pregnant while using either one, so if you are ovulating, use BCPs.  Neither will make you grow thick hair, but it will arrest the shedding after a few months of use. Completely normal for being post op.  It should only continue for a little while longer and then grow back.  Up your protein & start taking Biotin...that should help some.  Good luck! Kristy
