What do you use to ease the pain of laser treatments?

Your welcome. Well call American laser center and see if they have a harrisburg office..i think they do. Also there are many many other laser centers in Central pa.  How was the electrolysis? How long did you have the treatments for? What price did you pay? Ive been for an electrolysis consultation...but  i didnt follow through... at the time i couldnt afford it. I may do electrolysis if i still need maintanance after the laser treatments (hopefully not! ) 

I went for electrolysis in the 90's and used a woman that works in a castle down in harrisburg on linglestown road.  Went there for at least 8 months, no real results.  The woman was always 15 minutes late, and she wasn't with a customer, just routinely late.   I accepted this and thought if she gave good results ok, i will overlook it. But, there were no real results w/ her.   Then I went to another electrolysist about a year later whose name is cindy, works in harrisburg... She was very expensive and very painful. Only went to her twice. So, I waited about another year and my hair growth got so bad I opened up the phone book again and went to this woman in my town Karen, she is VERY good.  I had to sit there for 30 minutes at a time, I had a lot of hair on my chin.  I believe at the time she was $30 for 30 minutes and she set a timer.  I saw improvement with her after several treatments, she is very reasonable, clean, professional, and a very decent compassionate person.  But, I don't like probes/needles stuck in my face. Several months to a year after going to her I got put on spironolactone and oral contraceptives and that helped.  Each time I went to her, my hair growth improved, the hairs she zapped actually didn't come back.  My hair growth improved so much with her (and spironolactone, oral contraceptives and vaniqa) I didn't need electrolysis anymore.   Now, though there is the invention of lasers and am really considering this.  I still have the hair problem on my face, but it is not as bad as it once was.  So, I am looking for places that are reputable.   I know of one that is not, he advertises on billboards as the 'face doctor' but that is another story... that can't be put on a message board.  Needless to say, thanks to the 'face doctor' I now have trust issues regarding anyone working on my face.   * Sigh* What us women do for beauty!
