What do you use to ease the pain of laser treatments?

Hi guys,  As the intensity of my laser treatment has increased, the pain has greatly increased. I would like to know what you guyse use to ease the pain of your laser hair removal treatments.  Thanks!

Hi, I just saw your post and I am wondering when you have the pain. Is it during or is it after the treatments? My treatment pain never lasted long after. Do you have the pain medicine to rub on for before treatment. I feel so bad for you..

I have the pain during the treatment. I dont put any pain medicine..thats what im polling to see what people use to see what i could purchase. My last treatment they iced my face before they laser...it helped but there was still pain. let me know what medication / cream you use if any...thanks

I went to Ideal Image and they gave me a script for pain cream with I think lydicane { I am not sure that is how you spell it} in it. If you apply it 45 mins before and cover it with plastic wrap it works well. I will see if I can get you the exact name of it. I will let you know Monday when they reopen. Mine is gone already. Hi Again, Ideal Image just called and they said it is called Triple Anesthetic Cream TAC for short. They get it from the Compound shop.You hair removal place has to order it and have it sent to you. I think it was 40.00 and it lasts a long time for the face. This is the number for our Ideal Image 941-388-9200. Maybe your place can call them and ask them about the cream. Hi, I dont mind discussing it. I go to American Laser Center's brach office in lancaster, PA. I dont know how close or far that will be for you, but they have many many office around the state. You can contact them and see where will be close for you.  I recomend them. The particular center i go to is great, great atmostphare (sp), well trained technitians etc.. If you go to the lancaster center ask for Erin. Shes great. I would recomend some key things to keep in mind is to make sure you use the same technitian each time. At my center they rotate technitians on diffrent shifts, but i always schedule with Erin. If you schedule with the same person, they know you, your skin time, and will be able to give you better treatment.  I would say they are very pricy. Dont settle for the first price they give you...bargain with them. I have a full face package that was $2000. Very pricy! but id give my last card to get rid of the hairy face...lol...seriously. Anyway I liked my package beacuse i paid for 1year full face treatments...and after the the center gives you a 2 year guarantee...so after the one year and you still need treatments you will get 2 additional years of treatments for free....so essentially i paid for 3 years of full face laser treatments. I started out every 6 weeks...now i go every four weeks. My results are very slow beacuse i have ALOT of hair and its very course and i am african american ...which they have to use a lower setting. The ALC lancaster number is 717-898-9170. If that is to far...do a yahoo serch for American laser center and you can find a closer one to you. Thank you for the tips!!! That is a good price.  Lancaster would be too far for me, I've gotten electrolysis in the past and am wondering about other options!
