avandia

does anyone take advandia? my dr just perscribed it because i cant tolerate the met but a side effect og avandia is fluid weight gain......exactly what i dont need!

Hi~ I took advandia with Metformin for a while but my liver enzymes came back elevated so my MD took me off of it.  I feel fine on the met but my insulin levles were still above the 100 mark (they are supposed to be between 80-100 units?  without any meds my level was 842!!! on met alone it came down to 200)  So just make sure that you get your liver checked!!!
