I have read through a few of the posts and man am I glad that I found this forum.  I have PCOS and have known for quite some time.  I was "officially" diagnosed about five years ago but I have had irregular periods since I first started at 16.  Back then my mother did not know what was going on and her mother was a very overpowering woman. Because of this, my mother did nothing to find out what the problem was. Fast forward 10 years...I go to doctor after doctor but no one ever says I have PCOS...no periods....facial hair....acne like crazy...what is going on! FINALLY I was told by the best GYN in the world that I had it and off we went.  Since I am 35 I am on the path of trying to have a baby.  My husband and I are going through tough times with this but I know that my surgery will be the best thing that ever happened to me and my body.  ALong with PCOS, I have knee pain, mild sleep apnea, infertility and sometimes, heart palpitations.  I am in the six months of dietician visits that my insurance (CIGNA) requires.  Anyway, I am just glad that there are people out there that know the pain that I feel with wanting a baby and not being able to have one.  Thanks for giving me hope through your posts!

WOW only 9 days.  I know that you are excited.  I will keep you in prayer for both health and a baby!  I am still in the first stages but have the patience to endure.  Thanks so much for responding and for the encouraging words.
