Hello!  I was diagnosed with PCOS 22 years ago!  By the grace of  God, I became pregnant 5 yrs ago.  A miracle baby for sure!  I am no 9 months post op from the WLS and I am pregnant.  My cycle has been like clockwork since my surgery!  Of course, I am no doctor but I would say that there is defiantely hope! Good Luck! Maria Smith

Oh, it's deffinately possible! I have a lap band, and my weight loss is much slower than RNY people. I'd lost about 60 pounds, had decided I no longer wanted to be on the pill (for reasons totally not related to pregnancy) and two weeks later I ovulated and concieved. So yeah, it's deffinately possible. I'm 8 months post-op, 7 weeks pregnant, not at my ideal weight... but... happy non-the less.  :) Michelle

ME, ME, ME, did I mention ME... I had Rny in July of 2005 and have SEVERE PCOS. I lost 150lbs and got pregnant 10 months post op while taking the ortho evera patch for birth control! I gave birth Feb 26,2007 to a healthy baby girl named Alyson Jade. She weighed 6lbs 5oz and was 19 1/2 inches long..  My hubby and I have been together for 11 years and had never used any birth control at all until I had RNY. I thought when my surgeon told me that pregnancy was a high risk after surgery that he was joking but I guess not... We were going to try Clomid in October after my one year anniversary but I found out in June that I was pregnant.  Don't ever let someone tell you that it can not happen. I have a beautiful little girl that is living proof that miracles can happen. Good luck to you.. Melissa Yeager RNY 07/11/05 Mother to Alyson Jade Yeager

Hello virgo, My name is marisol and I was diagnosed very early in age with pcos at 13,  I tried for more than 13 yrs to get pregnant, to my shock on june 27th of this year I will be delivering my baby boy to the world, without fertility drugs, the only thing i was taken was metfromin for diabetes, I also have irregular cycles, even after my wls on aug 18, 2000. I just wanted to let you know that wls helps with some issues but not all, especially pcos cause its a hormonal issue.  keep faith and one day you will be like me ready to deliver and still looking at the positive ept test in shock!!!  have you gone to an endrocrinologist or the ob/gyn for lab test? I have alot of info on pcos if you want email me. marisol
