April 9th I have Lap. RNY Surgery..

Hey Everyone, Well I got my surgery date on Friday and was already on my pre-op diet  since they said it would be soon. April 9th.. wow  less then 9 full days away from a brand new lease on life. I am so  excited.  I  have a short visit with my doctors nurses on Friday the 6th and then I go register at the hospital..  Im a little scared about waking up and being in uncertin pain...  I am  so excited though I feel like a  child  waiting for the first day of school.. Does anyone have any advise that can get me through this next week...

Congratulations!!!  How exciting!  Tips...take photos & measurements.  They will be great things to compare to as you rapidly shrink.  I also took pictures on the 3rd of each month (since I had surgery on 8/3) so that I could see the weight loss...because looking in the mirror...I couldn't see it.  Good luck!!
