Hi all!! I have PCOS and just had my Lap-band surgery 2 weeks ago today. I was due for my TOM on the first but haven't gotten it yet. Now I'm having some dull muscle-pulling type pain on my right side and I'm having some discharge (not the yeast infection kind...no odor & clear)...sorry for the graphic nature of the post. Has anyone else experienced TOM problems post-op? Thanks! Deb.

Surgery can mess with your system...give it some time, AF will be here. Also, remember that as you loose weight that your hormones are going to be a bit out of whack so your cycles may not be as regular (or even more regular...depending on how you were before you had surgery). Good luck and congrats! Kristy EDD 8/6/06 36w2d It's a girl - Alice Kay

Thanks so much Kristy! I'll keep all that in mind. Do you have PCOS? If so, your pregnancy is very encouraging. Congratulations and I wish your health, happiness and an easy delivery. Good luck! Deb.

Yep, I sure do. Before I had surgery I never had all the symptoms, no cycles, no ovulation, acanthosis nigricans, skin tags, diabetes (I used to be IR, but then it changed to diabetes), hypertension...and didn't respond either to fertility treatments. After my weight was gone I had regular cycles lasting around 36 days and I was even ovulating on my own! We were able to get pregnant our first month not using any protection. Good luck to you as well! Kristy
