I love politics, always have. .. So I thought I'd venture off my home board WA State and see what this one was all about. It reminds me of some sort of teen board, everyone attacking everyone else and NO ONE listeing to what is actually being said! People swearing, calling each other names and NOT listening and debating in a respectful manner. Shame on me for thinking there would be a great discussion/debate going on here Oh and btw, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY THAT PRESIDENT BUSH GOT 4 MORE YEARS!!!!!!!!! I'm sure some of you (you know who you are) will flip a gasket over that statement Anyway, hope you all become happier and more positive with the onset of the New Year! XoXo~ Kimanne

OK, you want civil discussion.... here it is. I'm not going to flip a gasket over your statement Kimanne. I'm going to ask you... what is it that you think GWB has done that is so wonderful that you are happy to have him back? You like rising deficits? You like the dropping dollar? You like the "jobless recovery"? You like that there are more terrorists in Iraq now than there were before we invaded? You like the fact that the UN inspectors told us time and time again that there were no WMDs in Iraq that we IGNORED that information? You like the fact that both Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell both said in 2001 that Saddam Hussein had no weapons capability to be a threat to us or to his neighbors and we invaded Iraq anyway? You like that Osama Bin Laden is still on the loose because we let him go free while we invaded a country that was in no way a threat to us? Donald Rumsfeld, when questioned about truck armor for our troops, says, "You don't always go to war with the army you want, you go with the army you have." So you like it that we sent in Army that was not equipped to defend itself to invade a country that was in no way a threat to us? You like that the Medicare reform bill costs billions more than we were told it was going to cost and that the Bush administration knew this before it was signed? You like that every thing this president does he does it in secrecy? He claims to protect the power of the Presidency, but what about the power of the people? If we have a government of and by the people, how can an inforned citizenry govern itself when all that happens goes on behind closed doors? You like that Bush had to be dragged into an investigation into 9/11 kicking and screaming? What I see is a country that is 1) less financially secure 2) less employed 3) less safe 4) less insured and 5) more secret than ever. The bonuses of this are what?

No Surrender, I have seen your posts and your responses... and I'm not even going to validate any of your above posted questions. I don't trust your reactions on this board enough to have a debate/discussion with you. The only thing that matters is this, GWB is OUR president! I know thats probably a hard pill for you to swallow.. but it really doesn't matter anymore.. because he's in for 4 more years. I LOVE MY PRESIDENT!!! People that love Propaganda

Kimanne, I'm not going to flip a gasket, either.. You see, I agree with you 150%... President Bush may not be perfect, but I believe he's a heck of alot better than the "leader" we would have had if sKerry would have been elected. I'm thankful we have enough red states to offset those liberal morons in the blue ones -Mike PS Sorry if this post sounded negative in any way... I wasn't trying to be negative.. I was just being honest!

Nothing says civility more than a mispelled (???) name of the Senator from Massachusetts......

Mike, I agree 100%! Kerry offered America NOTHING! He flip flopped and side stepped every issue thrown to him. Thru all the debates, he said the same thing and presented basically no new ideas. President Bush is certainly not perfect, but I believe America needs a President that is decisive. And although President Bush has made mistakes, God bless him for standing up for what he believes in! You have it right Mike, the term "leader" and "John Kerry" don't belong in the same sentence Oh, and I didn't take you being negative in any way

Just think how much he can mess up in the next four! I'm really glad you love the president. You're going to be paying for his mismanagement of this country for a long, long time. Unfortunately I'm going to be paying for it too. No gasket flipping here either. I just don't understand how you can get so excited about a man who's responsible for so many disasters. RESUME: GEORGE W. BUSH 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Washington, DC 20520 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Law Enforcement: I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available. Military: I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam. College: I graduated from Yale University with a low (gentlemen's) C average. I was a cheerleader. PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas. ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money. I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history. With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes. ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT: I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record. I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week. I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury. I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history. I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period. I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month. I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her. I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. I am the all-time U.S and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations. My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron. My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the US. Supreme Court during my election decision. I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip- offs in history. I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed. I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history. I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government. I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history. I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission. I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election). I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television. I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history. I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history. I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind. I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in wartime. In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends. I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security. I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden [sic] to justice. RECORDS AND REFERENCES: All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view. All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review. PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have voted for him if they knew the facts. If their votes were based on the truth and not some religious ferver he wouldn't have one. This is America and it does matter what I think. Yay, huh? Do you get this excited everyday when you hear of more soldiers or Marines who have died because of his lies? It makes ME sick to my stomach.

Thanks for the great laughs LMAO @ religious ferver LMAO LMAO!!!! America voted, and Bush WON! So the way you feel about Bush really DOESN'T matter anymore. It's not like you can change how more then 50% of America voted And no, does anyone get excited when people die?? Your statement was just sickening, why would you even ask someone that question? Its unfortunate when soldiers/civilians die, in fact, WHEN anyone dies. But freedom comes at a cost, and there are always casualties of war. And yes, I have relatives in Iraq fighting, so don't even go there. They knew exactly what they were getting themselves into when they signed up. They are proud to serve our country and our President. I support them and our President!!
