It's the Washington spin machine. Honestly though, if we had a Democrat in office with the same debt problems, he wouldn't have broadcast it prior to the election either. I for one appreciate all the articles and information you are bringing to our attention. If people could learn to listen more and search out their own facts, they might have a slightly different view of politics in general. I know I get very upset about Republican machinations, but you can't believe everything you hear from either side. Our country would be so much better off if all citizens paid real attention and felt confident enough to make their own conclusions instead of swallowing everything their "side" touted as truth. I think that's one of the reasons why the rest of the world laughs at the American political process.....we treat parties like rival footballs teams and the fans are very rabid.

Kelle, You're so right about listening to all side of the issues, or as many as you can hear. I listened to Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannigan for a month before the elections because I was trying so hard to understand the other side. Last night as I was flipping channels, I thought, Halleliujah! I don't have to listen to those idiots for another four years!

Oh this is real important! Sounds kind of childish to me. Get over girl, W's in and it was the majority vote and the elect. votes that did it. The dems simply did not have a canidate that the Americans wanted to in the White House. If Leiberman had gone further, then the Dems would have had a fighting chance. But the extreme left liberal drivers in the Dem party had to dress up Kerry as their man. Better luck next time. Go George Go! Sally

Take comfort in the fact that we can only endure 4 years of George W. Then he is gone. (Unfortunately - GOd forbid - someone told me they will be pushing for Jeb to take his place.) Take comfort in the fact that the Republicans will - after a year or so - need to acknowledge that the horrid condition of our economy is the result of Republican forces. I for one am still exploring job opps in Canada and Mexico - I am too scared for my son's lives to just sit back and wait to see what happens.
