Not only will Bush win but he has the popular vote!!!! I am so proud to be a republican in this great nation. I may live in a democratic state but I live in a Republican Nation, Senate, and hey the House is looking pretty good too!!!!

"Along with privilege comes responsibility" Just remember that statement. This nation is very deeply divided so it is not a "republican" nation any more than it is a "democrat" one (meaning party affiliation) At least the results look legitimate this time around - I will give it that much.

Yep, Deliah.. OVER 3 MILLION votes in favor of Bush. They were saying this is the first time a president has won by popular vote since 1988 when Dubya's Dad won. And don't be so hard on your state.. correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I see last night that Bush won Missouri?? I'd be proud of the people of your state for keeping our leader as president instead of falling for all that pandering we heard from John "flip-flopper" Kerry! -mike

If you live in MO, you live in a conservative, Republican state. If you're in IL near St. Louis, then yes, you live in a beautiful democratic place.

Have any openings up there for someone trying to flee the Republican bible belt? I have my things packed, I was ready to go to Canada, but IL might be better... Kelle

LOL--there's always room for intelligent, thinking individuals in IL. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in Missouri for school, but I'm done in May, thank goodness. I've spoken with so many people today who just want to be done with this madness and move to a blue state. Can't wait to get back to IL.

Hope YOU CAN FIND A BLUE STATE. Not MANY OUT THERE. Wonder WHY?

I live in Texas - Texas as a whole voted for Bush - but my city - Austin knew where to cast it's vote. Canada looks better and better to me each day. (And don't bother flaming me by saying I should move there...) Anne
