There is plenty of time for people to come to their senses. We need a presidentwho can deal with what is haqppening now ,not 30 yrs ago. Instead of saying why I should not vote for president Bush, please tell me why I should vote for Kerry. What has he done for this country, What is his record.
Debbie
Well, first off, Kerry hasn't been president yet... but I can assure you as Senator he has done a heck of a lot more than Bush ever did as governor of Texas.
Secondly, Kerry will bring back many of the policies that were in place during the 90s, when we had job creation (instead of the job losses we have now--and yes some jobs have been created but since GWB took office there has been a NET LOSS of jobs), income growth (something sorely missing in this "recovery"). He will also bring back the allies that GWB managed to **** off. This country is a great country, but we are not alone in this world and it is HIGH TIME we stopped acting like we are.
GWB's answer to dealing with today's problems is to increase the overall tax burden of working folks, cut benefits for soldiers and veterans **** off our allies, attack a country that not only didn't attack us but didn't even have the capability to attack us.
Sorry... but GWB isn't at all dealing well with the things we face today. And you know what, you should be very skeptical of him too. He does EVERYTHING in secret.
Go out and read John Dean's "Worse than Watergate". (And for the record, John Dean worked in the Nixon administration--he's hardly a partisan Democrat.)
