Iraq... a little background

A lot of people seem to be pretty misinformed about the situation in Iraq. The attacks in Iraq are not terrorists attacking Americans, it's Sunnis fighting Shiites and vice versa. It's a power struggle. NPR did a great 5-part story this week on the history of the divide of these two muslim sects. It's great background. WOW. Thanks for the link. That was a HUGE eye opener. I still support the war efforts, but I''m starting to wonder if there is't something else that can be done. What, tho, I don't know. I can't keep my kids from fighting. I'm the last person to figure out how to stop a country from fighting. Tammy

So maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but what I think you're saying is that you want to see the region stabilized but you're now thinking that maybe military action alone isn't the answer. Am I hearing you correctly?
