Look through Liz's old posts. She posted a lot about her journey.
I hope to have a lower face/neck lift someday.

You may want to email Dr Sauceda at [email protected] if you don't mind traveling. He does amazing work. Check out his group here on OH. Dr Sauceda OH Group

I know that Dr Sauceda did all the procedures that we'd talked about at markup. The only way he'd stop from doing a procedure if you were having problems. Dr Gaby is checking constantly on your vitals. If it's not safe, they stop and reschedule you for another day while you are in Monterrey. To my knowledge, it's only happened a few time since 2009.

get a copy of your insurance full rider and look for the reconstructive surgery area. Just because someone else had the same insurance as you doesn't mean you have the same coverage. It all depends on the riders and inclusions and exclusions your company choose. If it can be covered they usually have some criteria that must be met and sometimes is listed in the rider.
lol...Right that would not be good
Do you realize that you're responding to a post that is 10 years old?
Hello, I'm curious as to how this all turned out. Can you please give us an update? Did he do everything you listed? if not, what did he leave out? Thank you in advance for sharing your story!

although I don't know anything about Cal Optima in particular, most companies won't cover it unless you have well-documented medical issues because of the excess skin, like chronic rashes. The only way to know for sure, though, is to contact the insurance company and ask them. A lot of us (probably most) end up paying out of pocket for it :-(
